The Learning Tee’s junior golf programme has once again been endorsed under the Singapore Sport Council’s Sports Education Programme (SEP) for 2010 and 2011. The innovative equipment we use allows us to conduct all the lessons in school. In the event that schools have space or other resource constraints, the programme can be conducted at a driving range. Furthermore our golf programme can be fully customised to fit the specific needs of schools and lets your students learn golf at a fraction of the cost of such lessons at golf clubs and academies in Singapore.

Our golf programme will facilitate the all-round development of students in the moral, cognitive, physical, social and aesthetic learning domains. More than 500 students have already benefited from The Learning Tee’s programs, let your students be next!

This program has been specially created for golf lessons to be conducted at a golf driving range or on a school field. Upon completion of the golf program, students will acquire skills, knowledge and an understanding of golf. There are 3 levels of instruction in this program, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level leads intuitively to the next. Each level comprises 4 lessons of an hour’s duration each. The skills progression for the program is to start with the simpler skills of pitching, chipping and putting before moving on to the full swing. This gives students greater success early on and motivates them and it also ensures that they develop good fundamentals early on.

The students will be provided with golf clubs that are specially tailored for their age and size. This makes the learning of the basic golf skills much easier so that students can progress faster and apply their skills to modified golf games. All equipment needed for training including golf clubs and range balls will be provided by The Learning Tee.

The integral values and etiquette of golf figure prominently in this program via The Learning Tee Golfer’s Creed as the game is a great medium for the teaching and learning of lifeskills. Social skills have also been incorporated into the program by allowing students to work with partners or small groups, particularly while participating in the modified games.

Awards will be given to the gold, silver and bronze medal winners of The Learning Tee Golf Program; this recognises the top 3 golfers of the cohort in terms of their playing ability. A special award will also be given to the golfer who best exemplifies all five aspects of The Learning Tee’s Golfer’s Creed. In addition, all students who complete The Learning Tee Golf program will be given a personalised ‘Certificate of Achievement’. Skill acquisition, character moulding and participation are the cornerstones of the program and we at The Learning Tee believe it is important to our charges that we show tangible recognition for their efforts.
